Lexington Fairness is presenting the first annual 2008 Fairness Awards.

The Fairness Awards will recognize contributions made by gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) Kentuckians and our straight allies who fight to bring Fairness to our Commonwealth on June 27th in the Grand Ballroom of Lexington's Radisson Hotel. The annual Fairness Awards will focus on those who devote their time and efforts (often for little or no public recognition), and will coincide with Lexington's pride festival.

The 2008 Fairness Awards will be hosted by Lady Bunny.

Lady Bunny has been a gay icon for more than 20 years, and has appeared in films such as Wigstock: The Movie, Peoria Babylon, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, and the upcoming film, Another Gay Sequel (sequel to Another Gay Movie).
